Philanthropist

In an ideal world, everyone would have access to music education, everyone would be able to go to concerts, and every musician would have ample opportunities to learn, grow, and showcase her work. This is the ideal that drives my many philanthropic efforts, which I realize as Artistic Director of the Cultural Arts Society Ars Haliaeti and its Masterclasses Haliaeti Summer Academy as well numerous projects that I oversee as the President of the newly founded Art Music Society.

The Cultural Arts Society Ars Haliaeti was founded in 2011 in my hometown of Izola (Slovenia). Over the years, we have hosted dozens of world-renowned guest artists and teachers that took over the roles of lecturers, masterclass clinicians, competition jurors, and performers, coaching hundreds of students from all over the world. The main setting for all of its programs is the gorgeous Besenghi Palace, home to the Izola Music School.

The Art Music Society is a brand new organization that focuses on providing music education and teaching opportunities to marginalized populations, as well as provides support for musicians transitioning from their academic to their professional careers.
